WEEK 54: June 29, 2020
Elder Hammond in the middle of no where |
From our conversation:
- Elder Hammond had a slow week. He spent several hours practicing the violin that we sent out with his branch president who was visiting Utah County. He and Elder Bird are going to prepare a musical number for the branch sacrament meeting in 2 weeks.
- He is reading a chapter in The Book of Mormon in Portuguese every day. He is also spending time every day studying Spanish.
- His whole district came to Fort Sumner for a district meeting and a service project. After the meeting, Andrew and his companion took them to that member’s fishing pond to fish a little. The fish were shy but one of them caught a snapping turtle!
